too cool not to share

Our good friends just got back from John Piper's Missions Conference last weekend.  And as they were there, Steven and I tried watching the live videos along with them.  (The time difference made it difficult to do this, but we managed to hear and watch some pretty amazing sermons.  If you're interested in viewing any, click here.  I'm still amazed that we can be in Thailand, but also "sit in" on a conference in Minnesota.  Amazing!)

Anyway, our friends told us that we just had to watch the talk by opening speaker, Louie Giglio.  It was their favorite session of the conference, exposing them to new phenomenas that radically expanded their view of God.

I was excited.

And you should be too.

Because after watching it last night, we knew our friends were right.

It is awesome.

I don't want to give too much away.  My words will just take away from the power and beauty of it all.  So, I'll just leave it at that.  If you have ten minutes (which I know you all do), do yourself a favor and watch this part of his talk.  It'll rock your world.  And your too small view of the great, BIG God we serve.

Psalm 148

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord from the heavens;

     praise him in the heights!

Praise him, all his angels;

     praise him, all his hosts!

Praise him, sun and moon,

     praise him, all you shining stars!

Praise him, you highest heavens,

     and you waters above the heavens!

Let them praise the name of the Lord!

Praise the Lord!

This global God is worthy to be praised, amen?  May we make it our life ambition to join in this universal song of praise with all nature, all creatures and all peoples for the glory and adoration of our King!
